Message from Skye:
I've known Sharon for over two years now. I first met her when she did webdesign for Adopting.org when I was a new writer there. Now, I know, admire, and appreciate Sharon for her talents, her kindness, and her friendship. She goes above and beyond in her work for birthmothers; whether designing a website, or designing merchandise just for us birthmoms - Sharon is passionate about her work, and she is passionate about helping birthmoms feel celebrated. Thanks Sharon!
About Sharon
Sharon is twice a Birthmother.
At the age of 21, "Anthony" who was born January 6, 1992 and the adoption took place at the Gladney Center, Fort Worth Texas. I had what is know as an "Open Adoption", however, all contact between the Aparents and myself stopped when he turned one.
At the age of 27, Lily was born April 29, 1998 and the adoption took place at the Golden Cradle Adoption Agency in New Jersey.
I did not fully come out of my shell about my experiences with Adoption until I met Courtney. She has inspired me and taught me that it is ok to release all my emotions regarding my experiences. Without her and several other people I would not be where I am today with my healing process.
I am now a divorced single mother living in Western PA.
